Authentic armchairs designed by Brno architect Jaroslav Šmídek in the 1950s, combining Czech design with contemporary textile aesthetics. The original wooden frame has been carefully restored—the visible parts re-glued, stained with OSMO oil stain, and finished with a satin lacquer that accentuates the wood grain and gives it a gentle sheen. The upholstery build combines rubber webbing and PUR foam, ensuring comfortable seating and long-lasting durability. The cover fabric comes from the British brand Kirby Design of the ROMO Group—its bold geometric pattern gives the armchair a contemporary visual rhythm and highlights the contrast between historical forms and a modern look.
